Not a great week at Walgreens this week for Rolling our Rewards! First I will list some of the better deals available, and then below I will show you my scenario for Week 8!

First of all we can get some really cheap toothpaste again this week! Colgate is on sale for 2/$5 and we get a $3 Register Reward back.  

We should have a $0.75/1 Colgate coupon (SS 3/25/12)

Deal is:
Buy Two participating Colgate toothpastes for $5
Use Two $0.75/1 Colgate Coupons
Get $3 RR's Back
Making the Colgate $0.25 each!

 

Kelloggs Cereal is on sale for 2/$5 and you get a $2 RR back making the cereal $1.50 each which is already a good stock up price but it gets even better with coupons! We have a few different Q's to choose from this week, a couple came in the papers and there are few printable ones. We can get Kelloggs Cereal for as low as $1 each with Q's!

Axe Personal Care items (excludes trial sizes and hair styling products) are on sale this week for 3/$12 and you get $4 RR's back! Without coupons this would make each one $2.66 each, but we have $1/1 Q's which will make them only $1.66 each!

Deal is:

Buy 3 participating Axe products for $12 and get $4 RR back.

Use Three of the $1/1 Q's

Pay $9 for the 3 and get $4 RR back!

Use Three $1/1 Axe Q's

(You will need 2 fillers for this transaction, see previous posts for more info on fillers)

Pay with $9 RR's from last week

Pay just tax

Get $4 RR back

Return to Walgreens on the 4th 

Buy the Luster 7 Toothpaste

Pay with the $4 RR from the Axe and an additional $0.99

Get back $4 RR

Hold onto that $4 RR till next week!

I am going to Change up the "IOTW" Program a little. I am still going to be making the videos and letting you know what Items to pick up, but I am also going to add options when they are available. I realize that not everyone wants or needs the same items and when Wags offers more than one item I should let you decide which way to go.

If you are following along from last week you should have a $10 Register Reward that you can use this week! If not that's OK, just start this week with cash out of pocket and you will be caught up! That easy!

 Once again Walgreens is a bust for IOTW, but we can make it work. We will be $7 Out of pocket this week, but we will have $10 in Register Rewards to carry over till next week!

Before we get to the Item that we are getting this week, let me show you a freebie that we can all get! In this Sunday's paper there will be a coupon for $0.99 off 1 Carefree pantiliners 20 or 22 pack, and Walgreens will have them on sale for $0.99! (Remember that some Q's are regional and we might not all get one!)

OK, on to my Item of the Week

Hopefully you still have your $3 Register Reward from last week!

This Week there is only one decent deal, and it is for the 14 Day Fat Burn Cleanse. This item is on sale for $10 and we get a $10 Register Reward back.

You will pay with your $3 RR from last week and then with $7 cash, but get back a $10 RR that we can carry over till next week.

I have heard (but not verified) that there is a $1 off 1 Coupon inside the box that can be used with this deal. Personally I am uncomfortable opening packages in the store, but if you want to... this is an option. Remember though if you use the Q in the box and a RR to pay, you will need one filler. (see previous posts for a filler description)

It is $5 and you get a $5 RR back!

Since we are going in with $6 in RR's we need to pick up an additional item for $1

For example The Duncan Hines brownie mix is $1

We get the Nasal Mist and the $1

Pay with the two Register Rewards + tax

Get back $5 in RR's to carry over to next week!
